Dharma Samrakshan Yatra lead by the Hindu Monks in Kerala
KOCHI
: State Maargha Darshak Mandal of VHP in Kerala is organizing a Dharma Samrakshan Yatra lead by prominent Hindu Monks during the period from 2 to 12 December 2008. The Yatra will start from Kasdargode and Parassale on 02 December 2008 and shall join at Marine Drive in Ernakulam on 12 December 2008.
Â
In recent times, there has been an unusual surge in threats to Hindu ethics and Culture from various corners. The VHP has been arranging such Dharma Samrakshan Yatra lead by the Monks through out the country and the Yatra being held in Kerala is a part of that.
Â
Bharat and Hindus who remained as role model for religious tolerance are now being threatened by the proselytization activities spearheaded by Global giants. The tribal and similar categories throughout the country are being lured to conversion by Christian missionaries by offering them rewards in cash and kind and even threats in different designs and they are aiming at the eradication of the Hindu culture and the country itself. The brutal killing of Swami Lakshmananda Saraswathi and four of his disciples at his Asharam in Orissa illustrates the extend to which they could pursue to attain desired results. In similar fashion they have earlier murdered Sreesanthi Kaliji Maharaj in Tripura and Sree Haridas Maharaj in Manipur. It is high time for the Hindus to recognize their designs and react to the Global threat to our very existence. Our Dharmas such as `Adidhi Deevo Bhavah’ and our prayers `Lokah Samasthah Sukhino Bhavanthu’ are being looked upon as our weakness or being used us ways to migrate into this country. We must recognize their designs and deal with them sternly and effectively.
Â
Throughout the country our places of worships, establishments and Hindu pilgrim centers are being attacked by terrorists and those abetting and aiding them. There are reasons to believe that even the large number of deaths reported at recent times due to rush, melee and stampede at famous temples during festivities also could be work of a few agents of enemies planted at such places. In Kerala, the communists have taken over the temple administration from the so called Devaswom Board. Famous temples like Guruvayoor and Sabarimala are now in their control and these results into untold miseries to pilgrims who throng these temples from all parts of the country and from abroad. Their party hooligans even dare to manhandle the pious Hindu Sanyasins like the way did to Sri Ramananda Swamy in Iddukki district and Vinu Swamy in Payyannur.
Â
In a country where the government’s appeasement policy towards minority forced them to keep in abeyance the death sentence of a terrorist like Afzal Guru who was found guilty of attacking the parliament and killing innocent police officers, Hindus cannot expect favors. On the contrary, the UPA government is trying to prove to the nation and to world that there are terrorists among Hindus also. It is to the knowledge of every one in the country and outside that the ever increasing bomb blasts that take place across the country in railway stations, trains, causeways and market places on the behest of infamous ISI who operates from Kerala too. Even though other state, central and military intelligence agencies have alerted the state government about such activities going on at different parts of the state and the coastal areas, the communist government in Kerala did find it an important issue. By the result, God’s own country is partially in control of those involved with arms trade, counterfeit currency distribution, explosives etc. and this has lead to failure in law and order situation in the state and security of the nation at large.
Â
Like our holy places across the country, our holy rivers are also being looted by these miscreants. In the north, the holy Ganges river is faced with serious pollution problems and in Kerala the holy Pampa river which has great important related to Sabarimala pilgrimage is also gradually dying. The government responsible for the maintenance of the temples, holy rivers and pilgrim centers care less for them. Its machinery responsible for temple administration, the Devaswom Board is totally in disarray. In fact, the government and the Devaswom Board are just the collectors of revenue form Hindu temples which is a major income of the Government when they have left Christian and Muslim places of worships to flourish with all the income they receive from worshippers. Is it not an irony that offerings from Hindus received at temples belongs to government, whereas the offerings that Christians and Muslims give to their churches and mosques belong to them!
Â
So, the VHP is taking out this Dharma Samrakshan Yatra to press for the following demands:
Â
- Stop atrocities against the Hindu Monks and Dharmacharyas.
- Protect Hindu temples and religious institutions.
- Put an end to conversions going on in the country and stop it by legislation.
- Effectively deal with Islamic terrorists and stop their centers in the state.
- Ban cow slaughter.
- Declare holy Ganges as NationalRiver and protect it.
