Devotees Swarmed the SreeKrishna Temple in Guruvayur for Sreekrishna Jayanthi
Devotees swarmed the SreeKrishna Swamy Temple in Guruvayur, the abode of the Lord on the occasion of his birthday, Sreekrishna Jayanthi. Devotees thronged the temple in large swathing queues hours before the temple nada opened.
Guruvayur temple wore a festive look days in advance, with embellishments adorning every nook and corner.  The famed ‘swarnakolam’, used only on special occasions, was taken out for the early morning ‘kazhacha-shiveli’, accompanied by musical accompaniments. Devotees were also served a sumptuous meal as well.
Other SreeKrishna Temples at Ambalapuzha, Thiruvambadi, Neyyatinkara also conducted special poojas.Â
