DeshBhakti is nothing but DevaBhakti : P Parameswaran

Desh Bhakti (Patriotism) is as important as Deva Bhakti told P Parameswaran, Director Bharateeya Vichar Kendram while addressing Guru Pooja Mahotsav in Kochi.

Rashtra pooja is equivalent to Ram Pooja , There won’t be Rama Sankalpa (if Rashtra is not there.We require good leaders who can give correct direction for the social development changes to the society. We cannot expect this from our political leaders.

The basic aim of religion, art, literatures etc is for the social and cultural development of the society. Even Pilgrimages are the the symbol of Deshbhakthi. Unfortunately now we need the permission of China for Pilgrimage to Kailas and Bangladesh’s permission to visit our great poet Rabindra Nath Tagore’s birth place , Parameswarji reminded.
