Carnatic Music Special – Hamsadhwani
published on September 9, 2013
Beautiful picture of Raga Hamsadhwani, painted by Prince Rama Varma and the sweet children of Veenavadini School of Music, Perla in Kasargode. Apart from being a huge admirer of Varma ji’s artistry in general, I am particularly fond of the way he paints pictures of ragas like this with the Swaras. This is so useful for musicians, music students and music lovers alike and I am extremely happy to share this video with you, bringing you Hamsadhwani in all it’s glory.
