Birth anniversary of mural artist

GURUVAYUR: The 143rd birth anniversary of renowned mural painter Pulakkatt Raman Nair, who introduced the Guruvayur style in mural painting in the last century, will be celebrated here on Sunday.
The Puraskaram instituted in the name of Raman Nair, will be presented to mural painter KK Warrier at a public meeting to be held at Government UP School.
Devaswom administrator V Ratheesan will inaugurate the day-long celebrations. Mallissery Parameswaran Namboothiripad will inaugurate the public meeting.
