When I was a school boy, my Samskrit teacher used to ask us what is the exact English word for ” Punyam”
Sin is the exact English word for Papam, but there is no exact English word for Punyam.
This is because of their Christian religion where there are only Sinners in their Holy Bible.
Swamy Vivekananda used to address his devotees as “amruthasya Putraa:” Whereas the Christian fathers used to address as “Yeh Sinners”
