There are several Samskrit half-statements, we often use that sounds full statements (Truth) such as Ahimsha Paraamo Dharma

We need to correct such half-statement’ s half-knowledge, and come out from Gandhian  delusion. For Gandhiji, Ahimsa was Paramo dharma. But he never thought, Himsha is also dharma/noble to protect the righteous. a function of Ksatiras.

We the followers of Sanatan dharma value Ahimsa, but we must know when Himsa is required to protect dharma and righteous people. Bhagavan Sri Krishna said in the Bhagavad Gita (BG 2-37):

hato va prapsyasi svargam
jitva va bhoksyase mahim
tasmad uttistha kaunteya
yuddhaya krta-niscayah

O son of Kunti (Arjuna), either you will be killed on the battlefield and attain the heavenly planets, or you will conquer and enjoy the earthly kingdom. Therefore get up and fight with determination.

so the complete statement is

Ahimsa paramo dharmaha, Dharma himsa tathaiva cha.

(‘Non – Violence is the greatest Dharma,So too is all righteous violence’)
