Jihadi Eve Teasing – Riot in Agra

Agra : An eve-teasing incident resulted into communal riots and arsoning in Shivaji market under Rakabganj police station in Agra district on Sunday afternoon. Police and PAC jawans were deployed in the area to control the irate mob.The mob pelted stones on top brass of police, who had come to supervise the police exercise.

Reports said a few rowdy youths from Muslim community of Mantola village passed lewd remarks on a Hindu girl , residing at Chakkipala village, two days back

Trouble started following a demand by a group of Jihadis to close shops in Shivaji Market as a protest over police action against a Jihadi youths for eve-teasing.

The protesters turned violent and torched shops, sparking clashes. Soon after the clashes, shops and hotels in markets close to Shivaji Market downed shutters in the Taj city.
