Why Congress afraid of genuine questions?

via HK published on July 12, 2010

Of late congress spoke persons are becoming really unrest on many of the political questions posed at congress and its policies in the past. In the press meetings they tend to verbal abuse any person who raised a question against congress and its policies. See some of the recent examples.

1.       Narendra Modi questioned what is the contribution of Nehru towards children to celebrate his birthday as Children’s day.

a.       Congress answer by Abhishek Manu Singhwi criticized Modi telling he is behind Gujarat issues and many sufferings there. But the questions posed by Modi remains the same “ What Nehru did good for Children and what did children in this country achieve by  celebrating children’s day on Nehru’s birthday. The question is still open unanswered.

2. BJP national President Nitin Gadkari questioned congress government’s credibility of actions against terrorists by asking, why is Afsal Guru who is the convict in Parliament attack case not hanged so far, is it because he is son in law of congress, so that he gets special privilege in this country?

a.       Congress answer by Manish Tiwari telling Gadkari has lost his mental balance. But the question still remains the same. Why is Afsal still not hanged? Why is he getting a special privilege by congress though he is one of the biggest enemies of this country.

3Attacking Congress President Sonia Gandhi over her “silence” on the Bhopal gas tragedy verdict, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi asked her to explain who was the ‘Maut ka saudagar’ (merchant of death) in Bhopal Gas tragedy?

a.       Congress spokeperson Jayanti Natarajan criticized Modi for bringing Sonia into this issue telling Sonia was not even in politics when Bhopal tragedy occurred. Again the question remains open to congress that who was behind escorting Warren Anderson out of country. Is it Congress’s Rajeev or Congress’s Arjun Singh? Sonia is the Congress Supremo and she should answer it.

People of this country has all the rights to ask these questions and Congress as the party to which these questions are posed are expected to answer these questions. Unfortunately they don’t want to answer any of these.
