Why blame Kalmadi alone ?

The media is going hammer and tongs at Kalmadi alone for the organised loot going on in the name of CWG. But the entire UPA has a collective responsibility, especially the Congress Party, can they simply wash off Kalmadi and pretend to be unconnected ?

Kalmadi is a congressman, selected by the Congress especially to organise this loot -tamasha. Indeed there are a lot of backroom boys who are shadow beneficiaries, but the Press is targeting only Kalmadi. Had it been in Gujarat the Press would start calling Kalmadi as Narendra Modi’s aide, in Karnataka for the iron ore scandal by the Reddy Brothers, Yediurappa is constantly targeted. However in the Kalmadi episode what is curious is that all Congress bigwigs are being shielded from the media glare.

For such a racket which has become the “disgrace of the country” the Congress is maintaining a low low profile, why ? Why is Kalmadi not resigning ? Who is asking him to continue ? Why investigation only after games ? Is it for foul deeds to be completed and then close the stables after the horse has bolted ?
