High Court issue last warning to Orissa Nun

via HK published on September 26, 2010

Cuttack:Orissa High court issued last warning to the nun who was allegedly raped during Kandhmal riots following the murder of Swami Lakshmanananda by Maoist-Christian nexus.

She was given the ‘last chance’ by the Cuttack court to appear on September 23-24 to record her statements or face coercive action if she failed to turn up again this time having defied the court summons thrice earlier.

The Cuttack court had been holding trial in the case since July following an order of the high court which, incidentally, had come on the insistence of the nun.

It was with the help of this so called rape story media and Christian organisations diverted the public attention on the links between Maoists and Christians.
