BJP wins trust vote in Karnataka Assembly

Bangalore: Shattering the dreams of Anti Hindu forces and a section of Media, BJP govt. in Karnataka won a trust vote in Karnataka. Karnataka Speaker K G Bopaiah disqualified 11 BJP and five Independent MLAs from the Karnataka Assembly under anti-defection Act in response to Yeddyurappa’s petition. The speaker declared that the motion of confidence has been passed by “voice vote” with the support of 106 BJP members.
