‘Modi Haters’ eat dust again – SC appointed SIT gives clean chit to Modi
The Supreme Court-appointed Special Investigation Team probing the Gujarat riots cases has given a clean chit to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi in a post-Godhra riots case citing that there is no substantial evidence to show that the CM willfully allowed the carnage. The SIT, was investigating a case which alleged that Modi as the then chief minister willfully stopped the police from stopping the rioters from attacking the society. The SIT had interrogated Modi for nine hours in March this year.
