Comrade Srimathi Teacher inaugurated Vijnana Bhrathi programme
Bangalore: Looks like for the comrades Rashtreeya Swayamsevak Sangh is untouchable only in Kerala. Kerala Health Minister Smt. P K Srimathi Teacher inaugurated the expo pavillion 4th World Ayurveda Congress here in Bangalore along with Karnataka Minister for Medical education Shri S A Ramdas. CPM leader shared the dais with other luminaries including Karnatka Chief Minister Shri B S Yediyurrappa and Art of Living Guru Shri Shri Ravishankar here on December 9th.
The 4th edition of the World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo was organised by Vijnana Bharathi a Sangh Parivar organisation to promote Science and Technology in the Nation. The nearly half a million visitors and about 5000 delegates expected to be in attendance this year, the Congress helped in reinforcing its identity as a global summit that brings together diverse stakeholders of Ayurveda on to a common, meaningful, and popular platform. In the associated expo, Arogya 2010, the spotlight this year was on traditional and tribal knowledge in health-care systems from India’s rural and tribal communities, with special focus on north-eastern states.
Thanks to Kerala media who blacked out this event and by that helped to prevent a controversy which must have forced CPM leadership to oust Srimathi Teacher from the party for the grave crime she committed in their eyes. Earlier CPM mayor of Kollam was ousted from the party for inaugurating RSS Prantha Sanghik held to felicitate RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat earlier this year.Â
