“Unnmayaana Thanmana thalaivars” In Soniacong?

An ENS report under the caption “High drama at Cong HQ” in TNIE, Chennai edition, 11-2-11, front page today, states baldly that around 2000 congoons broke the locks and entered Sathya Murthy Bhavan and shouted anti-Thankebalu slogans, and slogans demanding inclusion of EVKS Elungovan in Sonia’s poll panel. Soon enough Elankhova walks in and starts “pacifying” cadres, and exhorts them to “abide by the command of Sonia Gandhi”, his Lord and Master (not mistress please).

And, lo & behold! The goons, out of which one had even tried to “immolate” himself with a can of petrol brought to the venue, dispersed quietly, on two legs, with karai veshtis folded up to reveal striped baggy underwear. Perhaps they did not even shout slogans like “Sonia-G Gindabath”, “Rawgool-G Gindabath”.

Boot (etc) lickers calling themselves “unnmayaana” (true) “thanmaana” (self-respecting” “thalaivargull” (leaders; nethas) is ofcourse not strange in Thamizh Naadoo. Other reputed Unnmayaana Thanmaana Thalaivars of Sonia Tamil Cong are the son of the Karuppiah Mooppanaar who was booted out of the Party by the Italian Widow, Poll Cheat Chidmbara-naar and his son, and ofcourse the pouncing cougar Joy Aunty Nut Rajan, who are all near-equal co-parcenors of the Soniacong Tamil Party Inc in Dilli.
