Gujarat IPS officer’s stunt

Suddenly after more than 9 years after the Gujarat riots, an IPS officer has filed an Affidavit claiming all sorts of things against Shri.Narendra Modi. Why was this officer keeping quiet all these years ? Is he not guilty of dereliction of duty, lack of integrity and devotion to duty ? Why is the media going ga ga over a simple affidavit devoid of any proof ? If somebody files an Affidavit stating that Sonia’s money is with Hasan Ali, will it be accepted ?
As the Chinese have correctly assessed, the Indian media needs to be reined in and controlled properly. Reporters like Barkha Dutt will write anything for a few coins.
 
I am sure the UPA government must have offered a lucrative assignment to that IPS officer to file a canard Affidavit. It will not be surprising if he is made a Governor in some state as a reward for his belated false Affidavit.
 
This is also a point that Anna Hazare should incorporate in his Anti corruption draft. No officer should be given any post retirement office like that of Governor, Ambassador etc. For posts like CVC, CEC, CIC, UPSC,  CAT, Bank Directors etc there should be an open selection by advertisement in newspapers and proper selection from among eligible candidates. For all these posts the retirement age should be at 60 yrs. It is the post retirement perks that is spoiling our Babus and corrupting them. Let us stop this evil practice forever.
