Sacred Single School Teacher Schools

Swami Vivekananda Rural Development Society, Chennai, has been running ‘Single Teacher Schools’ at remote villages of Kanchipuram and Thiruvallur Districts of Tamilnadu with a mission of imparting value based education to the children belonging to extremely poor and downtrodden families who do not have access to educational infrastructures. Initiated and Blessed by Pujya Swamiji Dayananda Saraswathi in the year 2006 and guided by very eminent and highly placed citizens serving as members of the Advisory Board, this sacred project is doing wonders in the fields of education, health, culture and social empowerment. As the project is sustained only with the help of donations and contributions, Corporates, Charity Organisations and Individual Philanthropists are requested to extend their support for spreading this sacred project further to the rest of Tamil Nadu.
