Saluting Our Heroes: The Param Virs of Bharat
I am writing this to let you know of the release of “Saluting Our Heroes: The Param Virs of Bharatâ€. This compilation of blog posts was released on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas. Here is the story of what prompted this book,
In India, you can order the book via Pothi.com by clicking on this link.
All proceeds from the sale of this book will go towards supporting my various political initiatives, including outreach events, workshops and meetings (all expenses and funds will be publicly declared; as an example, pl see some details here).
Outside India, I would suggest you order a pdf copy by making a modest contribution here (The amount is entirely up to you).
As I mentioned in the video snippet, writing this series has been an extraordinary and extremely fulfilling experience. Each post reminded me of how fortunate and blessed we are to have people like these defend our borders and our freedoms…Sadly the stories of these “Param Veers†are not widely known. This is a humble effort to change that. Let us ensure that these men are not forgotten. Let us ensure that the stories of their valour are told and re-told.
Jai Hind, Jai Bharat!
Shantanu.
