Defying Devaprasnam, Ananda Bose and team to go ahead
The astrological examination had shown that the deity’s will was against the opening of Vault B, second of the six secret chambers that held the collection of valuables. A court-appointed committee had earlier put the material value of the gold, precious stones, rare coins and other articles from the five chambers at over Rs 100,000 crore.
The Prasnam showed that the deity alone had the right and authority to enter Vault B, warning that anybody who tried to open it would invite the wrath of the Lord to him and his family. However, the five-member experts’ panel headed by National Museum Institute vice-chancellor CV Ananda Bose has decided to go ahead with its plan to open the vault and assess its contents.
