Yet another blow to Modi bashers

Statements issued by the Government of Gujarat spokespersons, Minister of Health Shri Jaynarayan Vyas and Minister of States for Energy,  Shri Saurabhbhai Dalal in connection with the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s directive regarding the SLP of Mrs. Zakia Ahesan Jaffrey.

The spokespersons of the Gujarat Government, Health Minister Shri Jaynarayanbhai Vyas and Minister of State for Energy Shri Saurabhbhai Dalal speaking on the order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court on the Petition of Mrs. Zakia Ahesan Jaffrey have started that:

Not only the State Government has taken all necessary action and followed legal process from time to time, but also from the beginning, the Government has remained determined to see that the victims of the riots get justice and accused get befitting punishment.

Certain vested interests with ulterior political motives, who from the beginning were not interested in seeing that justice is done have tried to create various hindrances and obstacles in the judicial process and thereby gave political colour to the whole issue.

 

Those who had vested interested in giving political colour to the whole issue have been playing with the emotions of the victims although out advocating false, fabricated and whimsical accusations.
 
Such weird and twisted accusations were made that, even after four years of the incident, new accusations, new accused persons and imaginative events were spread to influence the judicial process.
 
Efforts were made to settle political scores by making false and fabricated accusations against the Chief Minister and the government.
Today’s verdict of the Apex court has given very clear picture of the issue at hand before the people of the Country.
 
It is matter of great joy to those who believe in the Constitution of the Country, that today’s verdict of the Apex Court has rejected alleged conspiracy foisted on the state.
 
The highest Court of the land has accepted the report of the SIT consisting of high ranking officers who have worked in the CBI who have carried out thorough investigation in to the seemingly false, fabricated and whimsical allegations made in the complaint.
 
The SIT constituted by the Hon’ble Supreme Court has continuously carried out fair investigations and submitted nearly 15 reports to the highest Court.  The Hon’ble Supreme Court has continuously monitored the progress of the investigation and earlier expressed its satisfaction over the work done by the SIT.
 
The Supreme Court of India has accepted the Report of the SIT without influenced by reckless and grave allegations made against the SIT.
Certain vested interests in order to destabilize the Gujarat government tried to ensure that FIR be filed against the Chief Minister and other government officials.  However the Hon’ble Supreme Court has not permitted this and such prayer has been out rightly rejected.
 
Politically motivated vested interests had tried their best for CBI investigation also. However, the Supreme Court has not entertained such prayer and re- affirmed its absolute faith in the SIT.
 
These vested interests had tried to malign the Gujarat judiciary also.  However this verdict of the Hon’ble Supreme Court has clearly reposed its absolute faith in the Courts of Gujarat and judicial process by directing the SIT to file its final report in the competent Court in Gujarat as per law.
 
The Supreme Court having been satisfied with the SIT investigation done under its guidance and directions has decided that no further monitoring is required in this matter which also clearly reiterates the Supreme Court’s faith on the SIT and the judiciary in Gujarat.
 
The people of Gujarat have faith and believe in their Chief Minister which believes in justice for all. The people have faith that the government of Gujarat has always espoused the cause of justice and relief to all victims.
 
We hope that the politically motivated vested interests will learn a lesson from this clear verdict of the Apex Court.

Now we can hope that politically motivated vested interests will refrain from creating obstacles in the way of Gujarat’s development and progress.
