Hindu organisations should step up vigil against attack on Sabarimala devotees

via HK published on December 19, 2011

Ranni: Amidst attack against Keralites are getting widely reported in Kerala media, A group of Miscreants attacked Sabarimala devotees buses at Vadasserykara near Ranni.  Glass panes of buses carrying Sabarimala devotees were broken in the attack. Hindu organisations in the area came out condemning the incidents and organised protest march against the motive of vested interests to target Sabarimala devotees.

Once the situation has gone out of hand the politicians who whipped up the passion of Keralites are not seen any where now. The whole issue has been shrewdly ignited by PC Joseph and MK M Mani, Christian leaders of Kerala congress and rest of the political parties fell into their trap.

Centuries old friendship and brotherhood between Tamilians and Keralites who share a common ancestry in many respect are now pulled apart by these vested agents .HK congratulate Hindu organisations who came forward to protect and protest against the attack of Ayyappa devotees from Tamilnadu. Hindu organisations should come out more openly to support the Ayyappa devotees and never let any Anti Hindu forces to target our brothers who come to have a darshan of Lord Ayyappa.

Hindu organisations in either side of the border have a bigger role to play to rebuild the confidence. Sectarian and linguistic divisions are promoted by narrow minded organisations who have evil motives, Nationalist organisations should be able to rise to the occasion and thwart the dirty games promoted by these agents of division. If not history will never forgive those who don’t resist this ploy to destroy the harmony and mutual trust prevailed within us over the centuries.
