Hindu activists foil missionaries’ ploy to convert Hindus !
Thane (Maharashtra) :Â Pro-Hindu activists, with the help of police, foiled the ploy of Christian missionaries to convert Hindus who were invited to attend a program at Dhokali.
Few Christian missionaries were distributing pamphlets related to Jesus Christ in Hindu residential colony at Dhokali. There was an invitation extended to Hindus from Dhokali to attend a program organized by ‘The Door’ Christian Centre’. Mr. Deepak Sawant, a local resident immediately informed Mr. Anil More of Bajarang Dal about this pamphlet who contacted activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). On the same day, a representation was submitted by Bajarang dal and HJS to the senior police inspector (PI), B. R. Chaudhary of Kapurbawadi police station demanding cancellation of the said program and informed him about the ploy of Christian missionaries to convert Hindus. On the following day, PI Chaudhary called Pastor Sandeep, the organizer of this program to the police station and made inquiry. Officers of Intelligence Bureau, Mr. Chaudhary and Kale also took him to task and instructed him to cancel the said program and not to hold such programs in future.
