Amidst 5th Minister drama, Tainted top cop reinstated

The Kerala Government has reinstated in service controversial senior IPS official Tomin J Thachankery, who was suspended four times for unauthorized Gulf tour and alleged meeting with suspected terror elements in Qatar.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy the other day signed the Government order revoking Thachankery’s suspension, which was to expire on Thursday.
