President Pratibha Retirement Home scandal
We are happy that at least a small effort is being made and the Main Stream Media is also going along, at least to some extent, with the scandalous behaviour of President Pratibhatoy Patil to seize and build a palatial Retirement Home for herself on Defence Land in Pune and charge it to the Nation’s Defence budget.
We cannot forget that she is the First Woman President Choice of the Italian Alliance in India. and the irony of the Army being made to surrender five or six ACRES of its land in Pune, and paying for a Grand Home for her – it was this Italian Alliance which kicked up a storm over some purchase of Coffins for our soldiers killed in Kargil.
Nor is any honourable mention made of the dishonourable fact that this Woman’s Tax-payer Paid Staff would not accept a petition from our Jawans because it was signed in their blood, and she could get AIDS from it. What price all that AIDS Education and crores of rupees spent by the GOI to educate people aboput AIDS if even this Path Breaker Lady President and her Dilli Raj Bhavan staff are as ignorant as a peasant in her native Maharastra.
That several “Officers†in the Defence Establishment as well as in the various Ministries must have really crawled before this Titular Head of a Government of Crooks (and worse) in this conspiracy and covered themselves in deep shit does not bode well for the country.
