‘Saints, Sadhus State Conference to be held at Chennai

Vishva Hindu Parishad (Uttar Tamilnadu) has organized ‘Saints, Sadhus  State Conference’ which will be held at Em.El.Em.Kalyana Mandapam, Chennai on 5.1.2013 from 8.30 a.m.  Brainstorming sessions will be held to discuss important issues pertaining to the Hindu Dharma and Hindu Culture.  The focus of the first session would be on building of Ram temple at Sri Ramajanma Bhoomi, to have a separate body for maintaining the Hindu temples, to retrieve lands from land grabbers, to collect the uncollected lease rent etc. and to take care of Hindu Mutts.
The Conference will be inaugurated by Sri S.Gopalrathnam.  Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Sankaracharya Swami will give the presidential speech.  Poojayasri Sri Vishvesa Theertha Swami, Pejawar Mutt, Udipi will address the gathering.  Shri Ashok Singhal will give an introductory speech.   Sri Dayananda Saraswathi Swami, (Arsha Vidhya Peetam), Srimad Andavan Swami, Periyaasramam, Srirangam, Srilasri Shanmuga Desika Gnanasambanda Paramacharya Swami, Dharmapuram, Sri Swami Niyamananda, Sri Ramakrishna Tapovanam, Thirupaithurai will participate in the convention.  Swami Thambaraananda, Chennai will pass the resolution discussed on above issues.

The second session will focus on curbing the illegal conversion, protectection and maintenance of the cows.  Sri Ooraan Adigal, Vadalur, Srimad Paramahamsa Appan Parakaala Ramaanuja Embaar Jeeyar Swami, Sriperambathur, Sri Brahma Yogananda – Yogashanthi Gurukulam, Chennai, Sri Yadeeshvari Nithya Viveka Priya Amba, Secretary – Sri Sarada Educational College, Ulundurpet, Swami Raghavananda, Nellai will participate in the discussion.  Sri Swami Vedananda, Madurai will pass the resolution.

The third session will be on the discussion to bring about social harmony among Hindus, importance of Hindu Dharma, and Hindu Culture among the society. Srilasri Ambalavaana Desika Bandaara Sannidhigal, Thiruvavaduthurai aadhinakarthar, thiruvavaduthurai will preside over the convention.  Sri Maruthaachala Adigal, Coimbatore, Srilasri Sankaralinga Desiya Paramaacharya Swami, Suryanaar Koil, Sri Sundaramurthy Thambiraan Swamigal, Kasi Madam, Thirupananthaal, Srilasri Sivagnana Desika Swamigal, Moolasamudhiram, Srilasri Meiyappa Gnanadesikaswamigal, Koviloor, Sri Baalaprajapathi Adigal, Kanyakumari, Sri Yadheeswari Guhapriyaamba, AzhagumalaiSri Sivalingeswara Swamigal, Coimbatore will participate in the discussion.  Swami Raamaananda, Sri Ramakrishna Ashram, Dharmapuri will pass the resolution.
