Is MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi really undergoing treatment in UK? His Facebook pictures contradict police claims

Even as the Andhra Pradesh Police believes that Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi, who has been booked for giving hate speeches against a particular community, has been recuperating in London, Headlines Today on Friday accessed his photographs from social networking site Facebook that speak otherwise.

Andhra DGP Dinesh Reddy had on Thursday said that Owaisi has been undergoing treatment in the United Kingdom. Even MIM MP from Hyderabad, Asaduddin Owaisi, claimed so.

However, his latest pictures that were posted earlier in the day on Akbaruddin Owaisi’s fan page on Facebook show the hate mongering leader enjoying his stay in London with his friends.

It raises questions on the police’s intention, whether they are actually investigating the cases against Owaisi or just trying to fool the people. As the governments of Andhra Pradesh and Centre continue to ignore Owaisi’s explosive speeches, Headlines Today asks why he was not booked under the National Security Act and his passport not cancelled.
