BJP – What lies ahead?
While Congress by hook or crook manages electoral victories, BJP specializes in losing. Karnataka, a prize obtained in South, now lost for BJP.The same happened in UP where the architect of BJP victory, Kalyan Singh was unceremoniously thrown out. At one time even Modi was ,it was said, not wanted in Gujarat after 2002.
People tired of congress misrule , after watching Jan Sangh, sterling record of its leaders finally gave opportunity only to see it was squandered. In every thing in its new Avatar as BJP , it tried to distance from earlier Jan Sangh and emulated Congress. Still there are many able people in the party and still people have high hopes especially with Sri Modi.
If BJP does not want to be Congress (B), sooner it declares Sri Narendra Modi as its PM candidate that much better. If secular Nitish Kumar and likes want a potential PM candidate to wear a skull cap to qualify for the post, let them wear one and walk out when Vandemataram being recited. That will ensure all Taliban type Secular Moslem vote.
India should get rid of such baggage.
Only way for any leader to be all inclusive is not through such gimmicks , but remain genuinely above communal and casteist politics now called secular, and make India a strong and prosperous nation.Â
