That inebirated driver responsible for 5 accidents is – Vicar of Thrissur diocese

It is reported that the vicar general of Thrissur diocese, Paul Peramangalam was arrested by Thrissur police on last Monday night on the charges of driving under the influence of alcohol. While he was nabbed, he was driving the car rashly and had already hit five other vehicles on the road. Seeing the rash driving, somebody had informed the police. None of the main stream media reported this incident as he is a powerful person in the church establishment. He is a key person in many church related organizations in Thrissur. Joint Christian Council has demanded an inquiry in to the incident.
