Al Ummah Militants behind the Murder of Suresh Kumar?

The latest reports point out to Al Ummah, the dreaded terror outfit as orchestrating the murder of Hindu Munnani leader from Chennai, Suresh Kumar. Suresh Kumar was murdered on Wednesday night by three bike borne assailant, as he was returning home from the STD booth he owned. Latest reports point out to the involvement of three sleeper cells.

A recent interrogation of recently arrested militants of Al Ummah, Fakruddhin, Panna Ismail and Bilal Maalik revealed the presence of sleeper cells of Al Ummah in Tamil Nadu. The three were arrested in connection with the blast near Bangalore BJP office on 17 April, 2013.

“The interrogation of these terrorists revealed that these sleeper cells in Tamil Nadu have gained ample potency. Their sole aim is to do away with members of Hindu organizations and BJP leaders,” said interrogating officers.

A special investigating team and the Intelligence wing are now actively combing places, where members of Al Ummah could be lying low.  Sources indicate that some of these places are Madhurai, Mettupalayam, Thirunelveli etc. Police have also decided to strengthen security cover to leaders of various Hindu organizations.
