Had Hindus United, Kerala would not have Lost Kanyakumari: Pon Radhakrishnan
“It was only in the name of language that Kerala lost Kanyakumari, which was actually a part of it. It is important that the Hindu society stands united, for the state’s economic progress. In fact, it is not jus Hindus who should stand united, but members of minority communities as well,” said Pon Radhakrishnan.
“In fact Kerala was the starting point from where the story of Hindu unity began,” said Pon Radhakrishnan, promising all assistance to the state in terms of developmental activities. “This Ganesh Chathurthi will usher in a new era for Kerala,” he added.
Making a reference to the defeat of O Rajagopal in Lok Sabha elections, Pon Radhakrishnan said that Kerala must always remember the economic progress made in the state in leaps and bounds, when O Rajagopal was union minister.
According to sources, as many as 8000 idols of Lord Ganesha were submerged in Shankhumukham, amidst fervant chanting of mantras that filled the air.
