Narendra Modi chosen ‘Person of the Year 2005’.
Mumbai : Gujrat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has been chosen ‘Person of the Year 2005’ in a survey carried out by a leading weekly. Modi was closely followed by tennis sensation Saniza Mirza and Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, Chitralekha weekly said in a press release. Having prepared a comprehensive list of the achievers who have consistently displayed excellence in their chosen fields, Chitralekhs commissioned an independent survey, among a cross section of people from Mumbai, Ahmedbad, Rajkot, Baroda and Surat, the release said. The survey indicated that 49 per cent of Gujrat-based participants voted for Narendra Modi.
