Kanchi mutt to construct hospital in Bangalore

The Karnataka government has given five acres of land for constructing a hospital in the outskirts of Bangalore by the Kanchi Mutt.
Disclosing this to newsmen here, Kanchi Shankaracharya Sri Jayaendra Saraswathi said that the Mutt would soon construct a Hospital here. The Mutt has already constructed a 100-bed Hospital in Shimoga in the state.
Earlier, the Swamiji was accorded a traditional reception. The Swamiji offered performed pooja at Chamundeswari temple atop the Chamundi Hills. He also conducted pooja of the Idol of Sri Shankaracharya, which would be consecrated in the Mutt premises here on
