Modernisation Vs Islamisation

Vote-bank politics of congress led UPA in centre leaves the face-lift of Gandhiji’s home state in doubt. They were successful in achieving the stay for Gujarat high-court order to demolish all the encroached structures. This fast-track action of the central government is not to curb the violence but to attract the minority vote.

No such immediate actions were seen when massacre of Hindus happened in a daily basis at Jammu & Kashmir or when Hindu temples were bombed by terrorists in the country. The external affairs minister was not at all aware when a Hindu engineer was kidnapped by Taliban terrorists.

We, sensible citizens of India vote the political parties in order to do some developments for our home-town as well as the nation. But in this case the central government machineries action to support the reason-seeking Islamic fundamentalists will only help in sabotaging the developmental plans by the Vadodara municipality to bring in modernisation of their home town.
