Rs 10 lakh reward for Nagpur police: Modi
Ahmedabad: Condemning terrorists’ bid to attack RSS headquarters in Nagpur, Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday declared a reward of Rs 10 lakh for the Nagpur police personnel who foiled the attack.
“Attack on the RSS headquarters is an attack on patriotic activities in the country. The RSS is engaged in serving the nation for the last 80 years,” Modi was quoted as saying in a release here.
Modi has urged Prime Minister Manmohan Singh “to take a serious note†of the increasing terrorist activity in the country.
The Centre should convene a meeting of chief ministers of all the states to finalise a strategy to finish terrorist activities in the country, Modi opined.
Terrorist activities in Kashmir and other parts of the country have increased immensely in the last few months. Terrorists are targeting religious places and other prominent places of the country, he added.
