President condemns bid to attack RSS HQ
Strongly condemning the terrorists’ bid to strike at the RSS headquarters in Nagpur, President APJ Abdul Kalam on Friday said the nation has to fight terrorism.
“Such attacks are condemnable outright and the nation has to fight the menace of terrorism,” he said.
The President complimented the Maharashtra police for their prompt and timely action in thwarting the designs of terrorists.
Kalam wished the injured policemen a speedy recovery, President’s press secretary S M Khan said in New Delhi.
Three heavily-armed suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists were shot dead in an encounter with the police while trying to enter the heavily-guarded RSS headquarters in Nagpur early on Friday.
