BJP demands action against UP govt for supporting SIMI
Rampur, Aug 06: The BJP on Sunday demanded that the Centre should take action against the Samajwadi Party-led Uttar Pradesh government for allegedly providing patronage to the outlawed Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI).
“Prime Minister Manmohan Singh should show his determination and use the administrative machinery against the SP-led government which is providing patronage to SIMI and permitting it to strengthen its bases in the state,” BJP vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told reporters here.
Naqvi asked the Centre to take action against Pakistan-based terrorist training camps.
He also expressed serious concern over the Indo-US nuclear deal
