Panaji, Aug 11: The national president of Bharatiya Janata Party, Mr Rajnath Singh today foretold return of the BJP government in the state in coming next assembly elections, with an vast majority. He was addressing a mass rally organised by State BJP at the Menezes Braganza Hall here.

He slammed UPA’s foreign policy and its soft approach in dealing terrorism in the country. He called for immediate suspension of all confidence-building measures with Jihadistan and to make sure ISI’s non-interference in internal security of India and deal with the Proxy war by Jihadistan in strict terms.India should attack Pakistan and Bangladesh to dismantle terrorist centres existing in our borders.

India should work towards creating an atmosphere in the United Nation’s Security Council, for declaring Pakistan a ‘terrorist state’.

“After the partition of India on religious basis, Muslims in India were assured of every right and facility at par with the Hindus in the country, which was the true essence of a secular nation,” but congress misused the secular fabric existed in the nation for mere Vote bank politics“However, the Congress party treated Indian Muslims as a vote bank and ordered survey of Muslims in defence forces as well as the judiciary.” This is the most undignified act which a political party could undertake, he added.

Speaking about forced religious conversions in the country, “If the missionaries desire to carry out social service in the country, they should restrict their work to the same and not trade religion with the social service.” The demographic changes in India will result in changing the character and identity of the country, he warned.

Congress government so far was playing with countries economy by blindly following Russia’s socialist policies and now open economy with American influence. India should be India and not converted into Russia or America, he strongly stressed.

The phenomenal hike in the prices of basic commodities from sugar to petroleum products and the absurd fluctuations in the Sensex which forced the share market to close its activities on three occasions, during past two years, are enough proofs of the fact that the country has an uncontrolled economy.“Everything except value of human life has sky-rocketed during the UPA rule,” he said

BJP, unlike other political parties in the country had never undergone a vertical division, Mr Singh said that the BJP has grown in its stature, towering even above the Congress party in terms of achievements. “The BJP has never compromised on the pride and self-respect of the country,” he maintained.

All the BJP MLAs and state office bearers of the party were present on the occasion.Earlier, a procession was taken around the city upon the arrival of Mr Singh.
