Five devotees died,Bomb attack on Janmashtami celebrations
Imphal:Five devotees were killed and several others injured when a powerful bomb exploded in midst of Janmashtami celebrations here.The bomb was hurled from outside by ‘unidentified’ persons,Police says.
The bomb exploded in International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) temple when the temple was packed with Krishna to participate in Janmashtami prayers.
No individual or organisation has claimed responsibility for the explosions, official sources said.In Manipur there are many guerrilla groups fighting against Indian army for last three decades.Many of them are covertly funded by Christian Missionaries.
