Malegaon bombing:Attempt to unify divided Muslims

Malegaon:The Malegaon Muslims are divided among themselves under two Islamic appeasing Political parties,Janata Dal secular and under Nihal Ahmed and Congress leader Sheikh Rashid.

Police is probing the involvement of local leaders in yesterdays bombing and they says it may be a way to consolidate Muslim votes under one banner.

 
Congress under Rashid had played all dirty games in prior elections to divide Muslims for his gain,and  the bitterness, for all appearances, still lingers. There was so much of bad blood in the campaign that elders wondered if the tussle was worth it.

Rashid accused Ahmed of playing the communal card and supporting Osama Bin Laden. Ahmed refuted the charge and accused Rashid of using unfair electoral practices. The divided Muslim community is now one of the main problems that police face, say officials.

Apart from these two Pseudo secular parties terrorists like SIMI have a strong hold in recent years in Malegaon and Security Experts think yesterdays bomb blast was also masterminded by SIMI with the help of ISI to unify Muslims under their label .
