Illegal cow slaughter root cause for Mangalore riots

Mangalore: Mangalore witnessed violent clashes and protests yesterday in the Bandh called by Hindu organisations in protest against the attack of Muslim mob on Hindus who questioned a cattle trailer.


 


The incident happened on Wednesday when a illegal cattle carrying lorry hitted a Jeep. The Cattle lorry sped of without stopping in the area towards Muslim Dominated area in Kudroli. Those who went to chase the lorry where brutally attacked by the Muslim crowd in the area.


 


Violent clashes within both community was reported on Thursday and Today, Temples were attacked and many were admitted in Hospitals.


 


The root-cause of all mayhem witnessed in Mangalore and surrounding areas from Wednesday was traced again to illegal transportation of cattle by the Muslims to their slaughter houses.


 


For the Ramdan feasting lakhs of cows are slaughtered daily all over South India, especially in Kerala and Muslim dominated places in Karnataka and Tamilnadu.
