Farooq Abdullah, Not ‘ISI’, is the first enemy of India

“Go ahead, Hang him! Face the consequences. The country will go up in flames. The harmony between Hindus & Muslims would be destroyed. The Judges, who ordered the ‘hanging’ would be murdered”, this is not told by any Pakistanies or an Islamic terrorist but a statement made by one of the political leader of the country.  Any terrorist or an ISI agent did not utter these strong & arrogant words. These were the statements of the National Conference leader Dr. Farooq Abdullah. He has aired his views in Karan Thapar’s program “Devil’s Advocate” in CNN IBN channel.

Farooq Abdullah has been crying for Afzal’s clemency right from the beginning and this interview shows that he has gone to the extent of even blackmailing & threatening the establishment. The whole world knows that his father Sheikh Abdullah conspired & created the Kashmir problem with a selfish motive, stupidly supported by the first secularist of India Jawaharlal Nehru. The problem, instead of helping Abdullah or Nehru, has become a permanent thorn for Indian establishment. The successive governments of J & K have helped to make matters only worse and unsolvable. Farooq Abdullah has outshone his father by this display of arrogance, immaturity & irresponsibility.

Supporting for a clemency call is different from blackmailing the establishment. Farooq Abdullah has attempted the later as evidenced by his out burst at Karan Thapar. If at all a law & order problem is envisaged, it is the duty & responsibility of the Chief Minister Azad to ensure the prevalence of peace by arresting the problem and it is also the responsibility of Farooq to help the CM as a responsible opposition leader. Instead, both of them along with Mehabooba Mufti & other separatists have resorted to threaten the central government in one voice, which has to be condemned by one & all.

Farooq Abdullah has said that the harmony of Hindus & Muslims would be destroyed if Afzal were hanged, which is ridiculous. First of all where are Hindus in Kashmir now? What was he doing when the Hindus were massacred, persecuted & driven out of their homes? Has he not ruled J&K as a Chief Minister and during his tenure what is that he has done for the unity of Hindus & Muslims? He has made the Kashmiri Pundits to live as refugees in their own country.

After enjoying power & cushy life as an ally in the NDA government, he is now trying to blame the BJP for the Kashmir unrest. By airing his views in the program, he has shown his anti national & pro Pakistan colours. As far as the Afzal’s case is concerned, Farooq Abdullah deserves to be tried under ‘treason’. The people of this country have understood his true face.
