BJP local leader killed by Samajwadi party activists

Lucknow: One local BJP leader was killed by a mob of Samajwadi activists, in Saharanpur District in UP.


The clash followed a shutdown call given by BJP workers to mark their protest against an â€˜organised’ attack on them by the newly elected municipal committee chief Irfan Masood and his supporters inside the municipality office on Thursday.


The grievously injured worker, who was rushed to Dehradun for specialised treatment, succumbed to his injuries.


The brutal attack was unleashed on BJP members under the leadership of Saharanpur municipal corporation chairman and Samajwadi party leader, Imraan Masood.


Police stood as mere spectators when these Terrorists unleashed terror in the area. “The police in Saharanpur have been acting like agents of the Samajwadi Party, otherwise they would have taken appropriate action against those who attacked the BJP workers on the floor of the local municipality Thursday.” told state BJP chief Keshrinath Tripathi,
