Nithari Killings : BJP condemns Minister’s statement
NEW DELHI: BJP Spokesperson Prakash Javadekar today strongly criticised the statement made by the Minister and the brother of UP Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav by describing “The Nithari Killings” as a routine crime. Javadekar said that the Minister’s statement should be condemned by all Law abiding citizens of the country as it is the shameless act of defending the heinous crime indirectly. BJP condemns the atrocious statement and demand apology for insulting the public sentiments.
BJP also condemns the apathy shown by Chief Minister Sh. Mulayam Singh Yadav by not paying visit to Nithari, which he is duty bound. The BJP has started the indefinite Dharana agitation in front of police station in Nithari to demand CBI probe in the matter and will intensify the agitation if the state government continues to neglect the public demand. The constant refusal of the state government for CBI probe suggest that the state government wants to hide something.
The details emanating of complicity of police with the accused is the result of policies of state government, wherein the corrupt officials are protected and honest officers are shown the doors. It has become clear now that in UP the criminals have the field day and honest citizen is under constant threat. This is unparallel anarchic situation, which should not be allowed to deteriorate further.
