Airport officials caught CPM leader Pinarai with ammunitions

Chennai: Airport security officials recovered five bullets which were hidden in the laptop bag of the top brass Mafia leader of CPI(M), Pinarai Vijayan here.

Pinarai Vijayan was carrying these ammunitions even after knowing that it is not allowed inside a flight. Security officials allowed him to go as he produced the license of gun which he was carrying.

Having a licence for gun in Kerala with his political clout is not a big deal, but knowingly carrying bullets with him is a strict violation of law and concerned authorities should take necessary action against him.

If this serious offence is not dealt with in a proper manner it will encourage more thugs and terrorists to do what they like.

Security officials are giving a wrong signal to the public, by allowing him to go scott free and such actions compromising the security of travellers should be condemned by all.
