Swami Poornamriithanandapuri, general secretary of Amrithanandamayi Madh. Swamiji delivered the blessing speech. In his speech he told, “It is ridiculous to wander in search of God for the Almighty will come into the hearts of those people who do selfless service to the poorer section of society,”

â€œWhile providing humanity with all its resources, nature demands something in return. This is nothing but a helping hand to the needy,” Swamiji said. Human beings are mainly divided into three groups. The selfish people who accumulate everything for their kin, the selfless people who give a part of their wealth for the well-being of the poor and those who dedicate their life itself for the welfare of others,” Swamiji said.

K V Madanan, state president of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, presided over the function. A Gopalakrishnan, state organiser of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, while delivering the introductory speech, underscored the need for setting aside some of our earnings for the poorer section of society. Serving the poorer section is one way to serve the Almighty, Gopalakrishnan said.

Sree Poornathrayeesa Balasramam is situated next to RLV College of Music and Fine Arts. It now accommodates more than a dozen boys coming from the poorer section of society. These boys are provided with free education, accommodation and food. K Babu MLA and others were present on the occasion.
