Update from Vishwa Gou Sammelan
Ramachandrapur Math, April. 27– Not even a single drop of cow’s blood should fall on earth and cow should not lies in the pool of blood in front of us, VHP general secretary Preveen Bhai Togadia has warned.
Speaking at ‘Rishiraja’ sammelana on the 7th day here on Friday, he called upon the public to sacrifice to any extent to prevent cow slaughter in our mother land.
Grass lands are only meant for cows. But, now grass lands are encroaching by vested interests, these should be get back, he said. Adding, the people who were not respecting our culture should be treated as traitor.
Cow slaughter is not our culture. We are worshiping cattle since ancient time. Indian culture is different from Western culture. They like to use as revel all the things except mother. But, Indians used to worship nature, he said. Adding, we are worshiping cow which comprises 33 crores of god in it’s body.
A man killer gets punishment for his culprit, while cow slaughter could not, he lamented and urged government to enact law to ensure death penalty for cow slaughter.
Money should not be hindrance for cow protection. If we collect one rupee from each Hindu, it will become Rs 120 crore in one Month. The amount could be utilised for cow protection, he suggested.
Minister for Tourism Sriramulu assured to provide all the facilities for tourists who visit Math. He also promised to release Rs 3 lakh for the construction of Helipad between the space of Hosanagar and math.
