Attach the properties of notorious painter M.F.Hussein-Court

Haridwar: Haridwar court  in Uttarakhand has ordered Mumbai police to attach M F Hussein’s properties and declare him a proclaimed offender.


 


The order is based on the case filed by Arvind Srivastav against the denigrating paintings by Hussein titled ‘Bharat Mata’ and ‘Krishna’.


 


 The paintings of this notorious painter were specially designed to purposefully hurt the sentiments of Nationalists who consider Bharath as their Mother and paintings of Hindu gods were blasphemous.


 


All Thirteen witnesses equivocally confirmed in court that Hussein has made a habit of creating paintings that offend Hindu sentiments.  


 


M.F.Hussein now lives in self-imposed exile in London and Dubai for fear of being arrested.Hussein owns a first-floor apartment in Cuffe Parade. The apartment is currently occupied by his son, Shafat Hussein.
