Christianization in Thirupati & Mother Theresa
Christian conversion drive in Thirupathi is not a novel news. AP Chief Minister Dr. Y. Samuel Rajasekhara Reddy is providing umbrella to the anti-Hindu activities and conversion drive there. It is seen everywhere in Thirupathi. Now, it is seen even in the official website of Thirupathi Dewaswom. Devaswom has found a new Brand Ambassador in Mother Theresa for persuading people to contribute towards service activities. Website bears the Theresa spell that “When I wash the wound of a leper I am serving the Godâ€.
No one disputes the services of Theresa. But, her target was always the conversion of Hindus to Christianity. It won’t be surprising if the monies contributed to Devaswom are spent for the spreading of Christianity. Hinduism has given births to several Hindu luminaries who have dedicated their lives for the welfare of the poor. Baba Amthe, Nanaji Deshmukh, etc, are only a few to mention. Dewasom shuts its eyes to these great personalities and highlighting the activities of Theresa, a protégé of the Pope. If the Congress-led govt. can erase our national symbols from the coins and incorporate cross on them what prevents them from projecting Mother Theresa as the brand ambassador of Tirupathi Devaswom.
