Comment on Mughal Atrocities-Prathiba Patil invites Leftist and Jihadi’s ire

Udaipur: Deviating from the usual norms of Minority appeasement and distorted History, UPA Candidate for Presidential Election Smt. Prathiba Patil triggered a ‘Veil Bomb ‘here.

In a meeting she urged Hindu women to come out from the veil (In certain places Veil’s are still worn by Hindu women) which was introduced in India to protect women from Jihadi Mughal invaders.

Addressing a function marking the 467th birth anniversary of Maharana Pratap at the Nagar Parishad Auditorium in Udaipur, Ms. Patil said though Indian culture always respected women, the veil system began during the Mughal rule to “save women from Mughal invaders.”

Ms. Patil said: “Today we are citizens of free India. There is need to put a stop to such practices. That alone will ensure real respect for women. When women are progressing in every field, it is our duty to discontinue such practices.”

Leftist Historians and Various Muslim scholars already started their protest against her comments, as for them an accusing finger towards the atrocities of Mughal invaders are ‘Falling in to lines of Distorted History of Saffrom brigade’!

Political Analyst’s say this as a clever tactics from the side of UPA to win back the Hindu mind. Alarmed by the growth of Hindu Nationalistic forces, Congress had recently done few face saving policies as an attempt to escape the Hindu ire. Introduction of Anti Conversion law in Himachal Pradesh, The Ordinance to prevent Evangelist’s in AP etc.

Politically correct or not, The efforts of the like by Prathiba Patil to expose the frauds of Leftist Historians should be appreciated. In this Secular era were Hindu is the most Hatred word and the amount of Hindu bashing is considered as the measure of one’s secular credentials the willingness of some people like Prathiba Patil, once in a blue moon should be welcomed.

(Prathiba Patil also had proved her Secular credential earlier itself by rejecting the Anti Conversion law bought in Rajasthan against the Evangelical menace as per the directions of Sonia Maino Gandhi)
