Restriction on offerings-Police aiding the Jihadi agenda

via HK published on June 23, 2007

Mumbai: Hindu Janajagruti Samithi came out heavily against the prohibition of Temple offerings in the excuse of Anti Terrorism measures.

In the famous Siddhi Vinayak Temple in Mumbai and Shirdi Sai Temple near Nasik devotees have been prohibited from carrying coconut and big garlands in the temple to prevent Terrorist attacks.

HJS slammed this move pointing that “the tradition of offering coconut and flowers to God has science behind it. It is to receive the divine energy from God through their medium. By imposing a ban on this the secular government is impinging on the religious freedom of Hindus. Would they dare to do such things to Muslims or Christians? Such measures by the government cannot control the menace of terrorism. Hindus should realize that this is an indirect attack on Hindu Dharma and awake and protest

Knowingly or unknowingly such Police actions will only aid the Jihadi’s and Pseudosecular’s agenda to terrify the Hindus and prevent him from visiting Temples. Citing Terrorist attacks, tomorrow they may even suggest closing of Temples in the country. This is what the Anti Hindus exactly want.
